November 2012: The Tip Tap Room in Boston

by Jen Dorman

On a crisp fall night, a band of food lovers gathered together at The Tip Tap Room in Boston’s Beacon Hill Neighborhood. They were all hungry carnivores hunting for a delicious dinner and fun dining company. Chef Brian Poe treated them to delicious cuts of kangaroo, yak, buffalo, swordfish and more.

October 2012 Dinner: Beast and the Hare in San Francisco

In October of 2012, we held our first San Francisco Mystery Meet social dinner at Beast and the Hare.

September 2012 Dinner: Meadhall in Boston

As Fall fell, we hosted a craft beer dinner at Meadhall in Cambridge with Wine Dine With Us and Boston Area Beer Enthusiast Society. It was an evening of great beer perfectly paired with delicious dishes.

May 2012 Dinner: Church

Death Cocktail

After nearly a year on hiatus, Mystery Meet returned. Jackie and Meesh of the Just Add Cheese blog took our foodies to Church. Chef de Cuisine Jon Gilman paired a heavenly dinner with sinful cocktails.

August 2011 Dinner: Area Four

by Seth Resler

Our final dining event of 2011 was hosted by longtime Mystery Meet Heather Brundage. She chose the brand new Area Four in Kendall Square as the venue. Thank you to Heather and the staff of Area Four for a great evening, and thank you to everyone for supporting Mystery Meet over the past year!

July 2011 Dinner: Pizzeria Posto

by Seth Resler

Pizza in the Oven

The lovely Bianca Garcia of the Confessions of a Chocaholic blog played hostess for our first Italian Mystery Meet at Pizzeria Posto in Somerville.

June 2011 Dinner: Food Trucks

by Seth Resler

Christine Liu

The summer brought another first for Mystery Meet: an outdoor event. We partnered with The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy to give foodies an opportunity to try ten trucks all in one night! Christine Liu of The Discreet Hedonist was our guest host, and Jesse Brackenbury from the Greenway was instrumental in making it all happen. Despite less than cooperative weather – the rain barely held off – 30 foodies marched across downtown to taste the finest street fare the city of Boston has to offer.

May 2011 Dinner: Citizen Pub

by Seth Resler

Glenn and Katrin of the Wine Dine with Us blog have been big supporters of Mystery Meet from the very beginning, so we were thrilled to invited them to host our eleventh dinner. They enthusiastically elected to host a pig roast at Citizen Public House and Oyster Bar in Kenmore Square. Our foodies pigged out on Thomas the Hog.

April 2011 Dinner: Tres Gatos

by Seth Resler

Tres Gatos Sign

Jacki and Meesh of Just Add Cheese were the gracious hosts of our first Spring Mystery Meet of 2011. They chose to host their Mystery Meet at Tres Gatos, the brand new Tapas-Restaurant-Meets-Bookstore-Meets-Record-Store in Jamaica Plain.
